The wedding will be held at the Borgo del Convento in Catanzaro on Saturday August 30, 2025. It is an hour or so away from Calabria's Lamezia Terme International Airport. Taxis, airport shuttles and rental car agencies are available.

As a reminder, taxi services and Ubers do not work as we know them to, so renting a car or carpooling is advised. Otherwise, there is public transport to access.

The wedding will take place on Saturday August 30, 2025 starting at 430pm. There will be a bus shuttle from Hotel Villa Ersilia to the Borgo del Convento for the Ceremony, and then back starting from 12am. Updated time schedules will be posted under the Wedding Program and also under point 5 on this page.

 For those who are in town on Friday August 29, 2025, there will be a casual Welcome Cocktail from 5-8pm at a venue which will be confirmed soon. There will also Sunday Brunch the day after the wedding on Sunday August 31, 2025 for those who are available to join.

More details on these events will be shared soon but RSVPs are required for both events. 

Calabria has a Mediterranean climate with hot dry summers and mild winters. August is typically the hottest month in Calabria with the temperature reaching about 30℃ during the day, falling away to a balmy 22℃ at night.

As we the wedding is at the end of the month, it should be cooler as we go into the fall, but keep in mind the usuals for such weather: sun screen, water, fans, hats, light sweaters or shawls.

We would appreciate your final RSVPs before March 1, 2025 and when doing so please clearly indicate which days/events you will be attending so we have a clear number of attendees for the weekend.

Yes. We will arrange shuttles on the day of the wedding from the Hotel Villa Ersilia to the Borgo del Convento and back.

Timings:
From Hotel to Borgo: 330pm departure (if you are not staying there, you will need to make your way there ahead of time please)
From Borgo to Hotel: from midnight-3am, every hour
The drive is approx. 18 mins. 

We only ask for your presence! Thank you in advance for the consideration, but we know that it is not easy to get to Calabria, so we very much appreciate that you will join us for our happy weekend, which means so much to us. 

However, if you are the insisting type, or this falls in line with customary beliefs, we welcome anything as a reflection of your friendship, which could also be through a kind donation to an animal shelter of your choice, or where we adopted our Badger and Tenuki, to help other animals find their forever homes.
